Peter Drucker once said that “Innovation is the only competitive advantage a company really has, because quality improvements and price reductions can be replicated, as can technology. Therefore, if a company could have just one major capability, it should be innovation.”

We met again in 1979 after he had retired to Frisco, CO ... Our family was enroute to Eagle Nest Lake at the headwaters of the southwest-most tributary of the Great Plains ... Mississippi River Basin. As collaborating Group Decision Support Systems (GDSS) information scientists, we cultivated the MentorshipART of aggregating (GoogleEarth) sea surveillance data to support NASA Apollo mission search & rescue operations ...

 

• These GIS-based applications are now at Maui's Pacific Data Center for disaster recovery & humanitarian assistance! 

 

While musing aboard the Battleship Missouri moored at Pearl Harbor on 6-Jan-2001 ... I heard her "ancient voices"  ...While researching creative ways to HONOR "hidden hometown" heroes, I discovered my visit aboard BB-63 was during the 60th anniversary of FDR's Four Freedom's speech!
